We continue to add new things to our website. Register above for a yoga class. We will be posting more classes soon! In the meantime, scroll through our website and learn more about us and what we offer.
Massage - involves manipulating, rubbing and kneading the soft tissues of your body which includes muscle, connective tissue, tendons, ligaments and skin. The massage therapist varies the amount of pressure and movement. We offer deep-tissue and Swedish massages. $80 per hour.
Reiki - an energy healing technique in which a Reiki practitioner uses their hands to deliver energy to your body
improving the flow and balance of your energy to support healing. The cost varies from $60 - $80 per session.
* Vinyasa - A flowing sequence focusing on connecting the breath to a string of postures, which tend to be set at a faster pace.
* Yin Yoga - Slow-paced with focus on deep stretching rather than flowing from pose to pose. You'll use props to enhance your stretches. Each pose is held for 3 to 5 minutes.
* Hatha Slow Flow - Similar to Vinyasa but at a slower pace.
A series of postures with focus on the breath, controlled movements and stretching at a manageable, deliberate pace to ease tension in the body and mind.
*The instructor will offer plenty of cues to help you tune into your positioning and muscles, getting the most out of each practice physically and mentally.
Our yoga classes are $20 and are 75 minutes long.
Visualization Guided Meditation - a type of meditation focusing on the use of guided imagery, creating a mental image or scenario in your mind in order to take you out of your busy day-to-day and into a place of inner peace.
Yoga Nidra - a form of guided meditation also known as "yogic sleep" where the body is deeply asleep but the mind remains awake, yet still relaxed. It is practiced lying down with a teacher guiding the session focusing on the breath and different parts of the body, relaxing and reaching deep consciousness. Research has shown that Yoga Nidra can help reduce stress, anxiety and insomnia.
At this time, a 30 guided minute meditation is included in the cost of a yoga class once a month where we will spend the first 45 minutes moving into yoga poses and the last 30 minutes in some type of guided meditation. If the yoga class includes meditation, it will be listed in the class description.
We may offer 60 minute meditation classes in the near future.

Massage helps to ease muscle aches and tension and increases joint flexibility and overall mobility. It improves circulation, stimulates the lymph system (the body’s natural defense against toxic invaders), and releases endorphins. It can alleviate breathing problems, lower your blood pressure, reduce headaches, and help manage anxiety and depression. Massage also helps to promote good, healthy sleep. We offer deep tissue and Swedish massages.
Make sure you are hydrated for at least 24 hours prior to your appointment. It is advised not to drink alcohol or use recreational drugs prior to your massage, and maybe skip the caffeine. Having a light snack is fine, but avoid eating a heavy meal. Although bathing is certainly not a requirement, it is generally considered good etiquette, and it can enhance your overall experience.
You will be asked to undress to your comfort level. Some people remove all clothing except for lower body underwear; however, disrobing completely is also acceptable. Your massage therapist has been trained to drape sheets allowing for modesty while still allowing access to the parts of the body receiving a massage.
Some types of massages work on deep layers of muscle and tissue. We encourage you to communicate with your massage therapist, if you would like more or less pressure during your session; if we’re just not hitting the right spot; if you’re too hot or cold, or if you need to use the restroom. Inform your therapist if you experience any pain or discomfort or if there is something we can do to make you more comfortable. While there may be some discomfort when tight or tense muscles are massaged, it should be minimal with a primary focus on relaxation. If you feel yourself tightening up or feeling pain or discomfort for more than a moment, please tell your massage therapist so they can adjust the pressure. Likewise, communicating about any injuries can help minimize the risk of pain during and after your massage.
Since the purpose of massage is to relax the mind and body, most people choose to remain quiet. Having conversation with your therapist is up to you. You are, however, encouraged to communicate if you need something in order to be more comfortable.
It's a great idea to give yourself some additional time after your massage to continue relaxing and to allow your body to fully absorb the benefits of massage. We leave plenty of time in between appointments so that you never feel hurried and can take your time before you head out the door. After your massage, there are some things you can do to help prevent some of the next-day soreness. Drink plenty of water after a massage. Not only will this hydrate the muscles, but it can help flush away toxins release during the massage. You can take a warm bath, ideally with Epson salts (1/2 cup to 1 cup) and soak for about 20 – 40 minutes. This is an inexpensive and effective way to further help your body rid itself of toxins and reduce muscle inflammation. You may want to do some gentle stretching that evening, paying special attention to the places that received most attention during your massage.
You can get a massage as often as you like. Everyone is different. It is important to understand what your body needs. Much can depend on your lifestyle, occupation, health, pain, physical needs as well as your stress and emotional needs. It is recommended that for relaxation and stress relief, a massage every 2 – 4 weeks may be sufficient to help relieve tension. You may benefit from more frequent massages, such as once a week or even twice a week in some cases, to address the underlying issue and provide relief. Regular massages are important to help prevent injury, pain and tension build up in the muscle fibers and for de-stressing and relaxing the mind and body. Massage can help to maintain range of movement, flexibility and health of muscles. Like many things in life, consistency is important.
Reiki is an energy healing technique that promotes relaxation, reduces stress and anxiety through gentle touch. Reiki practitioners use their hands to deliver energy to your body, improving the flow and balance of your energy to support healing. Reiki promotes relaxation, reduces stress and eases anxiety, improving balance within your body.
Reiki sessions usually last about 60 to 90 minutes to make time for relaxing deeply and energy flow. While the number of treatments can depend on your condition and personal goals, three to five treatments 1 to 2 weeks apart is generally recommended.
